Aiiiiight, this totally blows. I'm doing a 38-mile trek through the mountains that weekend, so I/we can't make it. Big up's to Chief for putting on an awesome photo op!

 

Still looking for information on a few that have indicated they want to go however no PM. If your on the road this is not an issue we still have time. I just don't want to get off track. Loosing Mr and Mrs Fracky we're currently at 19 confirmed cars. This should be a great trip and great time.

Hey All,
I hope this reaches everyone in time! We need to changed the departure time from Fresno! If we are going to make it to meet John and Suzie at 9:20 we will need to leave no later than 8:30. Tom and I will be at Starbucks at 41 and Shaw by 8:15 and we will be leading the group down to meet John and Suzie. I am truly sorry for the time change. As I was looking up the directions today I found out that it is an approximate 40 minute drive. Please let me know if there are any issues with this. Due to the amount of car going and the time frame we might not be able to do all of the pictures that we wanted to. Also if you are not coming to the meeting this Friday PLEASE REMEMBER to check your emails on Saturday for the latest updates.

I have got some more info for you all! We have come up with a plan so if people want to caravan they can or if you want to head straight to Lemoore you can as well. We have now split up the meeting places to make things a little easier for all of us especially those people who don't live in the area!

Tina: Starbucks on Shaw & 41 - Fresno meet at 8:15 depart at 8:30. (Black Cooper)
John: Texaco on 41 and Grangeville - Lemoore around 9:00 (Dark Silver S)
Suzie: Main Entrance to base - around 9:00 (Yellow Cabrio)

We have 22 cars and 40 people who's names are being processed for the access to the photo site. The list to add people is now closed and your patience with this evolution is greatly appreciated. Tina, Suzie and I will have lists to bounce who is at which location however our window is extremely tight so please try to be early and be ready to depart at the scheduled times. If you want a seat throw a chair in your boot. Bring your radio's standard channel, Suzie's cell is 707-9264 and mine is 707-9364 if you have any issues or questions give us a call.

My family connection to the DHS left yesterday and is back in OR.

 

DHS? I know that as, "The Department of Health Services" Looks like only a handful of people for the meeting tho?

 

Homeland Security! Even us accountants know that one. Government bean counters are considered "First Responders" in the case of a National crisis. Go figure. Local governments want to be reimbursed with State and Federal dollars after the crisis and the accountants have to run around during the emergency screaming, "Don't forget to get a receipt!!!"

 

Just pulling your chain JIMINNI. If I were you I would be very afraid knowing that National Security is in the hands of CPA's! I am sure you have heard the numerous references to what those letters really stand for... "cut, paste and assemble", "certified pain in the......" But I think my favorite was one actually published in a small town newspaper related to a story covering a local wedding. The groom, a CPA was a "Certified Parking Attendent." Oooh, that's who I want valet parking my MINI! No amature for my baby.

 

Ahhh...that makes sense now I didn't know we still had that in the new administration

Ok slight change in plans for those planning on meeting John it is now a Shell gas station at hwy 41 and Grangeville. Its the only gas station at that intersection.
