Obviously, you want a divorce. I programmed you SWI-X. What a pain until I read the instruction pages for the new unit. The ones you sent me didn't say anything about the extended ir mode which made all the difference. The car should be done tomorrow if I don't find any more hack-jobs. I have a swaybar install on a Clubman in the morning so you might come by in the afternoon.

If we hit the lotto the wife wants an SLR ( she seen one in black)but I was thinking more of an S2C pitts or a Mooney Acclaim with the G1000 panel.

I get to drive the Frackmobile tomorrow? I'm hopping up-&-down in my office chair like a kid who just got told they're going to Disneyland. Sawwweeet!

If I won the lotto we'd get a bunch of cars. Cookiehead is in love with the triple-black Ferrari F430, so that would be first. For me though? Hmmmmm.....actually, I'd restore/update/modify my Corvette. That would be #2 on the list.

Seats aren't in. The original seatbelt bolts don't fit and the bases require some big washers. It's off to the hardware store and then Casa Corona. I'll get the seats in tomorrow so you can pick up the Frackmobile tomorrow afternoon.

The Frackmobile successfully launched from it's CMS display pedestal with Joe grinning from ear to ear. Hopefully his wife can keep the plug in the piggy bank for a month before it come back to rest at CMS. Checkers in now occupying Fracky's former resting place getting ready for it's next launch.

So, now that is is off the pedistal, I hope that it "walked the streets of Bakersfield" on Sat. I miss that fun run. Who all went? how was the run? who won the bowling?

I sure hope I can find some good qualified help soon. I NEED a few days off before I implode. and I really hope I can get the time for MTTS and the Magical mystery Mini tour ( or somthing like that) in Aug and Sept.

Hey Chef, I hope you find help too! Imploding is very messy.

The Bakersfiedl run was Fantastic

Me, Vicky & Michael were the only two cars from Mid-Cal who could make it.
We represented well.

The weather was perfect. The roads were clear. Thirty five cars all together.
Two groups as usual, The Red "Hair on Fire" left first.
The Yellow(caution... not scared) left next.
The roads are soooo good. Many good twisties.

Lunch in Kernville was good as usual. One Porsche owner who stopped to gawk at the cars got converted to a MINI.
The two Sheriff's deputies were very complimentary.

The second leg back down 155 was just as good if not better than the first leg.
Lenghtwise brewery is still as Great as you might remember.
Excellent Food (stinky fries) and Brew.

Everyone from SoCal were their usual crazy and welcoming selves.

I look forward to next years run.

Oh BTW. I was talking to George and they're planning the "Mother of all Twisties" run again. The run was described to me as 108 miles of non stop Twisties in the Santa Monica Mountains.
As soon as I get the details I'll post the Information or you should check out their Website calendar.

Cheers, Rob

It will be protecting Checker's door sill when I crawl under it's dash to fix the gauge wiring. The pink towel is not a bigot; it will protect any MINI regardless of age, model, color or sexual preference.

Yay for the mang!! I've been having *tons* of fun with the Frackmobile in the last 24 hours.
The Status seats are awesome, the RMW cam & JCW injectors make the car feel more alive, the exhaust is the perfect note, AGS scream....I'm in love all over again. Detailing the car was fun. I took Jill to Colorado Grill for dinner & parked next to an EVO, Fracky looked much better btw. I've gotta admit though, I'm looking forward to have the 5-pt harnesses & rollcage installed. That's gonna be fun. Dr.Steve, what can I say. Well Ken said it best - you're the mang, mang!!!

Yep, he's a super-cool cat. He's the guy who overnighted the custom M7 vinyl work to me. His car is wicked. Speaking of Misfitoy, he pops up every once in awhile in my buddy list but where's he been?
