Dude, I'm telling you - you're totally going to miss out on the best/most fun Mini event in the United States (IMHO). It only happens one time per year & the next one won't be until 2009. You're gonna need to find a babysitter, friend, etc. for the kids.

Update

Well guy's it looks like Jan will be going up to the Bay Area the first week or so of March. I PM'ed Jan last week and haven't heard back. I really don't know what to tell you. I will patiently wait for him to get up here one day. If we keep enough guy's wanting to get him up here, I'm sure he will come. But if you need your tunning I understand if you do it up there.

Thanks

Jim

JIMINNI sorry but I really need a tune. I got my car back, but dont trust it until Jan looks at it. I'm going down to CMW for the cam install if they can do it next week. Then I'm going to San Jose for the tune.

Hi Jim -

Please add me to the list for Fresno. I had to cancel on the new bay area tune date (traveling), but motoring to Fresno sounds fine as long as it is 3/21 or later.

Thanks,
- Jim

(Oh, god - do I have to read all 8 pages of this thread?)

I am definitely interested in a custom tune from Jan, to go with my new M7 pulley from Steve at CMS. Have dates, prices, etc., been set?

We are still waiting for Dynapack to get their dyno back. Fresno is Dynapacks west coast hub. So we haven't got a date yet, we patiently wait . The cost from Jan is $350. for a tune. Dyno time has not been determined yet. Their may be a little more expense to have a mechanic there also, Steve is our man. I will update our list soon. Do you want me to add your name? Let me know. Thanks, Jim.

Did Dynapack happen to say what their timeline was for getting their dyno back? It's been two months so far right? I'm going to be itching to get the tune once Dr.Steve is finished with my mods for the moment - I have to let Checkers take the "shop display" spot.

FRACKY By the sound of things you don't need a tune, you need a pedistal. Come to think of it that would help keep thing off the floor also.

Yep, that was a good one! With weather like today's, I want to get out & drive. Did Dynapack say when they'd have their unit back and up-&-running?
