3. Jim/JIMINI
4. Randy/Checkers * in midst of engine rebuild?
5. Chris/ChrisW * in if done at end of January?
6. Brad/Scooby03 * if car's back together soon?

Do we have anyone else to put on our list? There's gotta be more mod-addicted Mini people in our group. Jim, have you heard from anyone else? Also, my new JCW injectors look cool, but I'm even more excited to see/feel how they unleash the Frackmobile's inner beast!
Don't put me on the list, I will do it another time.

Joe you crack me up. His car is in mid transformation right now, I saw it yesterday. I think he is waiting for your car to get back over there so he can swipe your nitrous, since you don't use it anyway . I'm going to be having Steve install my 380's and DTBPV in a couple weeks so I will be ready any time after that .

My guess is back to what it was to start with. Otherwise, I think it will take a bit longer than mid-January.

It's like the FIELDS OF DREAMS. If he builds it they will come. Thinking 2.0L. maybe. Time and money will tell. I still want my car back sometime in the middle to the end of January.

Is your RMW head completely toast? If so, I'd like to know if I can get the cam bearing caps. Thanks.

Talked to Jan yesterday and we both think the 2.0L would have to much TQ for the automatic, so it's back to plan B. I having my engine rebuilt. It must have gotten dam hot, the skirts on 3 of the pistons were gone, But other than that eveything checks out good. It would have been a lot of fun seeing what the 2.0 could have done in my car. Jan said it has about 210lbs TQ to start and with a 19% pulley it would be well over 235lbs and we don't think my tranny could handle that. Maybe next time.

Checkers, I have an automatic as well, but also very interested in the 2.0L that Jan is developing.. Is there an automatic transmission that can handle the torque of the 2.0L that would fit in the Mini?

Also is there a date set for Jan's dyno day? I'll be dropping off my mini to get my Dinan intake & exhaust, Alta 15% pulley, JCW injectors, S1 suspension and camber plates installed tomorrow. I'm suppose to get the car back early next week. So it looks like I'll be good to go for the tune. So please put me in as a definite..

I wish I knew if it would hold the torque for sure, I would hate to put it in a car and destroy the transmission.

Hey mikenaron, sorry we haven't got back to you, I saw your post on the other thread, the bay area event. I'm thinking that maybe we should set up 2 different days as I know some of us could be ready very soon. I will send a PM to everyone thats interested and try and get a more definite date. Thanks, Jim P.S. I will call Jan again and find out what the minimum number of cars he will come out for.
