Christmas Tree Lane Run Saturday Dec. 8th

Our slowest run of the year.
A cruise down Cristmas Tree Lane!
Up Van Ness Ave. thru Old Fig Garden on Saturday December 8th at 6:00 pm.

We will meet up at 5:30pm at Starbuck's, N/E corner of Shaw @ Hwy. 41. This way if you want something warm for the run you can get it. The lane opens at 6pm. We will leave Starbuck's and head to Blackstone, tn. lt. and go to Shields, then tn. rt. and go to Van Ness. When we turn right on Van Ness, it will turn into Cristmas Tree lane, about a 1/4 mile down the road. It's a 2-lane road, that is made oneway for this event. We take it all the way to Shaw ave. Depending on traffic it could take 1-2 hours from the time we leave Starbuck's until we get back. Donations are accepted at the end of the Lane. It keeps the lane open every year. Lots of lights, and music. Open the top or sunroof, and windows, turn on the heater and HEATED SEATS , and away we go, at about 1-mile an hour. Your clutch foot will be worn out by the time we are done, but well worth it.

Following the run we will head over to Yosemite Falls Cafe for Dinner and Drinks.
4278 W. Ashlan at Freeway 99. Phone 275-6060.
I have made Reservations for 20-25 people. If you plan on attending please reply to this thread or contact me directly by PM, Phone or email.

Cheers, Robert.

This is a fun run, but if you have a clutch, your foot gets real tired.

I am actively working with my friends to help limit the traffic jams we encountered last year. I took the afternoon off of work to attend a meeting with many parties who are involved with it's planning. Christmas Tree Lane has been given national recognition in the media. Hope to see you there!

Well, looks like I cannot make it for the Run tomorrow, although I might possibly be able to join you all for the Post-Run dinner. I will be in Fresno that afternoon shopping, shopping, and more shopping!
Cheers,
-M-

Hi gang!
Sorry we won't be able to make the run tonight. We're helping out at the family restaurant down near Bakersfield. I'm going to be resuming my alter-ego of "Dish Ninja".

The run was great, even in the Jeep.

Did the Red Bull MINI's meet up with everyone?
