REMINDER: "Spring Cleaning" at Mini Mornin' Breakfast on April 21

Just a reminder: We'll be running an informal "Spring Cleaning" at Outmotoring after the monthly breakfast at Tim Horton's. Bring your favorite car wash shampoo and towels because we'll be washing and waxing the morning away. I'll bring my Prima products and my Porter Cable polisher if anyone wants to see/try them out.

See you Saturday!

Sure, sure... A little Finish on them shold be no problem. I have to do my car anyway (if we have time) so I'll just hit them real quick.

For speed, wash the car before you show up - it willl help.

I actually didn't know/forgot that this meeting was the "cleaning session" meeting. And funny I washed, hyro'd, wizzard blacked arches on my mini yesterday (expect for wheels, they're a mess). Now if it rains it will be all dirty again because I have to park on the street

With all you just did, just give it a quick rinse if it rains - stopping at a coin-op place on the way to breakfast should do you - and then Hydro while it's damp and you should be good to go. I think we're just supposed to get a bit of drizzle between now and Saturday.

The weather is supposed to be great right though the weekend.

This will be Sean's last MINI breakfast before he heads to the Great Northwest to seek fame & fortune. All you Mid-Ohio folks come on out for his send off.

That's right. Things just won't be the same without Sean. Well, y'know... those things that he showed up for.

I plan on coming to breakfast, but will have to scoot out shortly after so i can go for a bike ride, I washed my car yesterday so at least I am not missing out on having a clean car. Of course I also had my dog in my car yesterday so nobody is allowed to look inside just admire the clean outer shell

You are in luck. We'll have Sean put several coats of wax on that bad boy while we drink coffee.

I'll be in Columbus tomorrow...just not with the MINI, nor at the breakfast. Besides, I'm saving my MINI for next week's detail fest in IN with y'all.

Oh heck Jeff, come on over. I'll buy you a cup of coffee & you'll sit in my MINI & make motoring sounds. Vroom vroom!!! You'd also get to feel my Welsh Dragon Whalen shift ****. Now how can you pass up a great deal like that?

Well, I DO like the idea of a Welsh Dragon shift ****, but that's about the ONLY Welsh-related item I do not have in or on my car. Unfortunately, wifey is on a mission to make new drapes for the house, so I need the bigger car to transport all the crap she intends to buy at the JC Penney warehouse on I-70 East.

BTW, have you ever seen my other MINI? Not the MCS, but the MC?

After almost 2 years of living in Columbus and over 4 years of owning a MINI, I finally plan to come to tomorrow's breakfast! Majoring in Physics at Ohio State keeps you pretty busy...

I have never been to a Tim Horton's, but I've heard they have excellent coffee, so I'm looking foward to that and the nice weather.

Oh man, shopping with the wife.....just think happy thoughts. When you are at the JC Penn'e warehouse. You may find something that interests you. Many years ago someone I know stumbled onto rally lights for sale, Marshal's I think. Every rally boy & girl in the Columbus rally club had them on their car.

No I haven't seen it. In fact I've only ever seen two. Pretty rare color.

Tell you wife that she just has to see the new window treatments at Outmotoring world head quarters. Tres Chic!!!

If you go to the BCD in Dayton this August, I'll bring the Cooper this year.

It's on my calender. I'd love to see the Cooper.

Jeff you missed a great MINI breakfast yesterday. Try & make it over some other time.

What a great turn out for breakfast. Must have been a record of some kind. It was great seeing old friends & meeting some new ones

Did anyone get a count of how many cars Sean waxed? Sorry I couldn't stay longer. Things to do you know. One of those things was to wax me MINI. Some of the MINI's there were painfully clean. Now mine is too.

I'm hoping to take the MCS to Indiana next weekend...any chance he will be waxing cars there, too? Yesterday was good, at least for my wife, as she was able to find exactly what she wanted for our curtains. Of course, it was just a long day's driving for me...about 400 or so miles roundtrip, that I would much rather have made in the MINI.

I used to go to the breakfasts when they were at Bob Evans, but it's just too far for me to leave here and find anyone still there by the time I finally get there. I was even leaving at 6:30 and arriving by 8:30...so I just stopped coming.
