THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL THE THIRD SAT IN MAY!!!!..


With such high demand for the last two ModFEST events and completely slammed install schedules we think we're going to try to get this happening every month as long as there's interest. The first two (see link below) were nearly 16 hour days with loads of parts getting installed throughout the day. Our new facility in Columbus Ohio is an easy drive from just about anywhere in Ohio, in fact most of the recent modders were from out of town!!!

If you are interested in getting some upgrades to your MINI at ModFEST3 please add to this forum so we can get it finalized. If there's not a lot of interest we will wait until May do the next one, so please chime in!!!!

Our garage is begging to be filled with more MINI's. Please don't let it go lonely. We can do ANYTHING to your MINI. Just let us know.

Things are looking good for this event so far. We have 2-3 that are very clost to picking time slots for pulleys and other stuff...

We are going to try to limit these events to 4-5 cars because we will starting later in the day (after MINI Mornins breakfast) and for everyones sanity want to try to finish the last car before 11:30 PM like the last 2 events...16 hour days are a bit tiring...

Because of the Easter holiday and other conflicting events ModFEST 3 will be postponed until the 3rd saturday in May.

Let me know if you have any questions or concerns....we will still do breakfast on the 15th at the New Albany Tim Hortons right across the street from the Bob Evans we usually meet at...

 

What is involved in the breakfast? Is it still a meet of cars and stuff?

The breakfast is still a go for the 15th and is usally about 15-20 people hanging out and eating and if it's nice out, we hang outside for a while and talk about MINI stuff...

 

Looks like ill be able to make it, i was able to get someone to cover my shift..told them i had soemthing important.

 

Alrighty....i will most likely be there as long as i dont party too hard the night before.

If anyone wants to drive around and look for a good spot to shoot some photos after breakfast,i can bring my Digital SLR and we could have a little MINI photoshoot. I'm no DiD but I've gotten pretty decent at car photography.

it's going to be a slim crowd due to the holiday weekend, but nonetheless, it should be fun. I've gotten about 5-8 replies...

 

PLEASE NOTE: ModFEST has been postponed until the third sat of May, HOWEVER, we will still do the breakfast at the Tim Hortons (new location) in New Albany, near the 161 and New Albany Road.

I'm driving home (from college) to go get my summer wheels and give the car some spring cleaning.....then i will be coming back down to columbus

 

Cleaning/ Were you not in columbus this morning? That storm woke me up, it was great!

Im going to try and at least wash my car befor tomorrow, however i think its going to rain tonight, so not sure anyone will be able to tell.

 

hahah I'm a little east of columbus, but its definitely getting rained on right now. I still wanna go home to give it a nice waxing so that even if it rains it will shine a little.

It was great meeting you guys today

In terms of finding a place for a photoshoot, i found a place just down the street that was perfect....so i grabbed a few shots. Let's see if we can get the meet planned out

 

I'd love to get some pics of my mini. I've had it a year and a half and havn;t taken the first pic, I hate to admit! It will be clean when I leave but 9 hours of driving will be damaging. I 'll bring my detail bag and maybe clean it up while the mods are being done. Billy
