Mark's hella busy lately it seems, and I hate to impose... I know it would be child's play for him, but I've asked him favors before...

Vics Body Shop in South Westerville.

Might be too small of a job for them. Excellent work but expensive. Can't you paint the parts?

from another local guy

Paul Finn

613 394 2195

hands down the best...he even matched a custom paint job that was done by someone 12 years ago on my bike
and

this was done a month ago, but i figured i needed to put up a review. I helped one of my buddies with his R6 over the winter, and we had Pual Finn (614streets Will's brother) paint it. He works for Tansky toyota as a painter, and also paints all the race bikes for Attack Kawasaki, some of you may have seen the work done on Wills truck which is awesome.

the man did an amazing job, and at a great price.
my buddy couldnt be happier with the results. and i was blown away of how well it came out.
its hard to find a good painter, and at a good rate as well. He is a great guy to boot! so if anyone needs any paint work done i suggest taking it to paul you wont regret it! hence why my bike is there getting painted as i type this. (pics to follow after i get it back) anyway on with the pics!

oh and if youd like to contact paul

Oooooh... strong words, indeed for a guy with Saf-T-Orange wheels and dash accents...

PS - called Paul and left him a message - thanks for the contact!

Heck I was going to suggest a rattle can too. If you take your time you can achieve a nice result with them. Although not a pro level finish.

I figure a guy with a purple car can take a joke.

Some things I take serious, Chuck... Same as you would if someone suggested rattle-canning ANYTHING on your car.

As for Paul, he called me back and quoted me a VERY reasonable price... seems like a great guy as well. He'll shoot primer, multiple coats of paint (color-matched to my bike) and finish with a clear coat - quite a good deal if you ask me. He was so reasonable, I plan to ask him if he can do anything for the dings, chips and surface blemishes that have been bugging me on Fiona! Hope he also does cars...

I might & I might not, depends on the piece to be painted. Heck my car even has a piece of duct tape on it holding a well made British part together.

Sorry if I offended you, that was not my intent.

Sorry Matt, but every time people give you crap I picture you using it in your next book. The thought of Chuck in a black magic setting just cracks me up to no end.

Glad you aren't miffed. Maybe the problem is I take very little serious these days. Life is too short.
