First Door Ding :(

After detailing the car for 5 hours or so yesterday, Sarah and I decide to go to Bonefish then see Alice in Wonderland over at Rave Polaris.

Come out to this. FYI that last spot has some giant penninsula of snow reaching out into the space... I figure, "nobody'll park there." I was wrong.

Now ive got to pay the PDR guy to get out the nickel size ding on the rear quarter.

I waited for the owner to come out and it was some teenage girls who ,after I stepped out of my car: "This your Impala!?", were oviously terrified. Gave them some stupid fatherly "Now i have to pay my hard earned money for your neglegence to my brand new car" speech, got some hesitant thank you and then I left. Not worth doing anything about in the parking lot.

Lesson learned. Hopefully they may have too.

Adam:

Sorry to hear about the ding. Let me know how the repair goes and cost.

I do my best to avoid the Impalas of the world but it is only a matter of time.

Doug

Adam, my hat goes off to you for handling the situation so gracefully. I can only imagine that they were good looking and you got ytheir conact information for future reference (OH, I just noticed that your passenger was still in the car)

Go ask for John Schrek @ Dent Wizard on Sawmill. Supposedly the best of the best round here based on many Columbus car nuts
