Breakfast & a car show? 9-6-09

Would anyone like to meet at Starliner Diner for breakfast followed by a trip to the Italian car show at Wendy's corporate Hdqtrs in Dublin?

If you do be at Starliner at 9:00 Sunday.

Cooper I have no plans to head north at this time. I'm thinking the BRM tech day is 9-12-09 next Saturday. You may want to check the dates before you head up there.

Pictures posted.... =)

Great breakfast with Ben & Lindsey at the Starliner plus a cool car show = a wonderful day.

Lots of expensive garage queens on display. The folks there seemed to be having fun, but a few times I heard people actually bragging about how little they drive their cars. I don't get it. Me thinks MINI owners have more fun bombing around racking up the miles.

Thanks for the pic of the orange 911, that is by far my favorite. But then again I am not a huge Italian car fan the Ferraris and Lambos just do not do it for me. If I had to take one I think I would go with the Alfa in pic 89, and if I had to have a modern one hands down the yellow Maser in pic 3, I have not seen that car in yellow, but I love it.

Yes that was one nice 911T. Not that much of Itailian cars either, but it was cool to see how the other half lives.

Oh, I like the Italians! It was a pretty cool show. A few too many modern examples though. There was one Ferrari 360 spyder in dark blue with a dark brown interior that looked nice. Nice to see the new Ferrari California in person. Also nice to see a Dino and F-40. And one of my favorites the Fiat 500. I hope the U.S. gets to see the new iteration in the near future.

My favorites, the 250 GTO & Pontooned fender Testa Rosa were missing. I hope to see one of each up close & personal before I keel over.
