Mini defies gravity at Easton...

Has anyone seen this ad over at Easton? It's over by the main mall building, sort of near Macy's and the Apple Store.

I don't know about you, but I want this thing to hang on the side of my house when they're done with it.

That is pretty cool! Funny that I don't see a MINI logo anywhere on the banner...they must have went really fast!

Odd indeed Germain does not sell Minis? But I guess nobody would notice it if it had a Toyota on it

well Minis do go fast and we are noticed. But maybe they sell used ones. Could be false advertisement.
Still pretty cool though.

Probably just needed something small enough, and that has actually probably been made before. Cool ad though!

Sort of deceiving for them to have a MINI in their ad. Totally different impact with a 4 door Lexus. What, "MINIs are cool for advertising but we would never sell them"?

They should hang a Hummer H2 up there. One less on the road....

They also have the front half of a Toyota truck sticking on another wall. Based on the problems they have had with those things I would not drive under it

It must be relatively new. I decided to "drive by" that spot using Google Maps Street View and discovered that their DB predates its arrival...

Though, it looks like they used an R50...

Also of note it is just a Cooper, the S is too heavy to hang on a wall

It would be OK if they had a lightened crank pulley on it. I sure hope it's not wearing S Lites!!!

Closer Look

So we went by there last night and we took a closer look at the "Mini" and the sad truth is, it's not real! I mean that's good because they aren't actually wasting a car for the add. But the actual car that is hanging is completely made of shiny plastic. Looks like a life size toy car, that doesn't do anything except attract attention.

Agreed with the Toyota and the Hummer

I wonder if we could pick it up cheap once they are done with it. Man would that be something with a Hemi in it.
