Yeah that occurred around our last breakfast. I thought I told everyone, guess I missed you. Sorry. He will still have a hand in servicing our Mini's however, so no worries there! The new guy seems nice and amiable. Here is to hoping that he can match Sam's leve of customer service.

It was an amiable move by all parties from my understanding. Such is the life in a dealership. He seemed really happy when I went back to talk to him the other day.
Glad to hear Sam is doing well & doing what he wants to do.
I'm sure he is still going to help us out if we need him.

Sam is alive, well & still helping MINI owners..... =)
I was at MAG today having a couple of maintenance issues dealt with. While standing there talking with Ray Heard in service about my MINI's maintenance needs Sam came up & said hello. Most of you already know how good MAG MINI's service is, but I'll tell you again. They did a great job for me. Top notch service.
When I wear this MINI out my next one will come from MAG, because of their service crew.

Make your appointment with any of SA there. They all are nice people. If you need to talk with Sam he is still there & can answer your questions.
Hope you aren't going the crazy long interval that the OBC says to. I change mine in between the OBC recommended ones.

oh no. i change oil / rotate tires every 6K...Ive already done a few lol. I almost just want to skip it, but it is time for another change and might as well get a freebie
Free is good.
Michael O'Sullivan is a nice guy. Seems like the sales staff has a revolving door there. I think that is true for most all dealers though. Good luck to Michael where ever he lands.

Don't be too disappointed.
Sam's replacement, Ray Heard, is my favorite Mini service adviser that I've dealt with at MAG the past ~3 years of going there. Being younger, I usually get no respect from anyone up front in the service/sales area at MAG. Ray has been extremely courteous and helpful each time I've been there asking him questions about parts or warranty issues.
When I walk in the Mini showroom, the salesmen usually 100% ignore me assuming I can't afford to buy a new car. In a couple years when I'm looking at buying a new JCW or M3, I'm definitely not buying it from MAG.

yeah if your younger and wearing a t-shirt they seem to ignore you lol. Thats why my salesguy was some younger used car salesman from next door...He was the first to even aknowlegde my presence....so he got to sell me a $30K car w/o even trying (had the build sheet in hand lol).
Now im usually dressed up for work so they say hello, and Sam always did. Ill be sure to meet Ray when i stop in on Monday.
I was amazed when I came in with a child seat and nobody said anything like "you should upgrade now that you have kids" I would have been offended, but when they didn't say anything I thought they were doing a bad job.
