Who is going to the BCD on 5/17?

MAY 17th BRITISH CAR DAY XXV - QUAKER STEAK & LUBE - Polaris Parkway & Lyra Drive - Columbus. Feature Marques are MiNi - 50 years, and Morgan 100 years

 

I was planning to go.

I won't be entering, just paying my fee to park there. I just can't bring myself to enter a new MINI in a car show. Maybe when it is 10 years old I will.

Things changed at work, and there is a chance we'll be there now... Have to see what comes up between now and then. Is this a fun show normally? Any chance there is more info out on the internets somewhere?

I'm gonna try to make it down to this event. I've been trying to go to as many british car shows as possible this spring and I haven't seen you guys in quite a while

 

Are you going to bring any of your new designs down with you?

 

I could certainly bring some shirts down if anyone's interested. The 50th anniversary shirt would be especially appropriate for the event

From what I remember it starts at 9:00.

 

Sue and I will be there, as well as at the Saturday show at the 2nd Street Market in Dayton, with just one Mini. Looking forward to seeing everyone on the day(s).

It's THIS Sat... the 16th? Where do you find out more info on this... I've looked at 5 Rivers MetroParks website, and got nothing . I always like this one and have been trying to find out the date.

Sunday we'll probably make an "appearance" . Not going to enter, but hope to wander around for a bit. =)

Are there vendors at the Polaris Car show, or just a standard car show?

 

Yes there are vendors. Stuff to keep an old Brit car on the road. Some shirt & regalia sells. No new MINI stuff that I have ever seen.

 

It was in last Saturday's "Wheels" section of the Dayton Daily News.
