Babs & I are doing our 25th wedding anniversary Not N MG drive down into SE Ohio & WV that day with some other Miata friends. What a sweet wife I have.

This will be the first MINI breakfast that I've missed since buying my MCS in 05. I'll miss you guys & girls. Have a donut for me will ya?

I'm making this drive an exploratory run of the salamander for future MINI's on the salamander use.

I'm going up to Mid-Ohio on Friday. Anyone want to come along?

I looked at a local loaded 06 that a guy said was immaculate but it was trashed. As a car detailing fanatic his definition of immaculate was very different from mine. I don't think he cleaned the interior for 2 straight years.
Granted, I am a little crazy about detailing.

I do not think I will be there. Planning on camping at Mid-Ohio after driving Nelson on Friday. Chuck I will give you a call when I get to Mid-Ohio on Friday if you are still around I will tell you how Nelson was, according to Welshy I think it is the first dirt road course

Don't think we'll be making it up this month either, have plans to head up to Snow Lake in North-Eastern IN for the weekend. I'll eat a donut at the local donut shop for u though!

 

Yeah this one had oxidized paint that someone tried to poorly "restore". they succeeded in putting in more swirls and scratched than I have ever seen. Toss in the globs of touch up paint and the interior plastic being very scratched in the back and there was no deal. When I told the dealer why I was passing they gave me a blank stare, like I was crazy.

Back on topic. My wife and I would be game for a Saturday night sonic run.

If any of you are bored next weekend, I recommend going to the June 15 Buckeye Miata Club Autocross. It's usually a great time and it's always nice seeing more Minis.

And I will be at the June 21st breakfast. I'll bring my camera and take a few pictures, but don't expect them to be near the quality of Chuck's from his SLR.

No show for Sonic this Saturday; I'll be out of town.

 

Since that is Father's Day, I plan on laying on the couch being fanned by Lil' B.A.D. while Mrs. B.A.D. mows the yard, prepares me various grilled meats, and keeps cold beverages within my reach.
