Hi everyone! I'm new to this site. Just got an '07 S last week and I love it!!! I guess I missed the breakfast for June. Can anyone tell me when the next local event is? Live in Canal but work in Cols and Westerville, so we are out and about. Hope to meet some of you soon!

Congrats on your new MINI & welcome to the Mid-Ohio Motoring group of friends.

This Friday, Saturday & Sunday are the vintage car races at Mid-Ohio. I know there will be several of us up there looking at vintage cars & talking MINI's. I plan on being there Friday & Saturday. Come on up if you get a chance. It's a great track in a park like setting.

I believe the QS&L British Car nights are scheduled for every other month during the summer. Since the last QS&L night was in May, I assume there isn't one tomorrow night. But someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Chuck, thanks for being the trustworthy photographer at the breakfasts and always taking interesting shots.

Mark, if you didn't already know, the newly painted wheels and JCW wing really compliment your existing setup and looks wicked sweet . IF you decide to remove the checkered roof graphics, will you also have to change your plates and NAM username?

Jason, thanks for test driving Mark's and my car and giving personal feedback, even though you implied Mark's was better to drive than mine... Don't you wish your R56 had a screaming supercharger sound and was as fun to drive as ours?

Finally, Aaron, I think Yuriy's Mini was actually cleaner than yours the last time I saw it ... I would be happy to give your Mini a free exterior wash/detailing later this week with all my Griot's products (as long as I get to drive it ).

I snapped 13 pictures at the breakfast before my camera died. Here's a link to some of those:

Enjoy!

Cooper thanks for the pictures, nice job!!! Next time your battery dies ask me for my spare battery. I always have my 007 spy camera with me & have a spare for it.

Yuriy, I'm sorry I always misspell your name.

Jason we will make you a sounds of the supercharger CD for you to listen to while you drive the turbo.

Mark, I don't want you to change names, but I have a plan. Carbon fiber checks for your roof.

Aaron thanks for letting us invade world hdqtrs once again.

I'll call the QSL today & check, but I believe Cooper is correct.

EDIT..... I checked my calender & it shows the next QSL Brit car cruise as Monday July 21st.

Great pics from Chuck and Cooper! I think we should have gotten a picture of Yuriy's Clubman full of Silverbacks

My Saturday has been cleared to join you at the vintage races (wifey felt even worse about me not going with you and Mark last Friday after I showed her your pics from that day). Now I just hope the weather is as nice as it was this past Saturday morning.

And to show what I have learned from the Silverbacks...When ever she would tell me how bad she felt about not being able to go, I always replied with "I knew you didn't feel good and you've been travelling, so it was more important for me to stay home then go to the races"

Hehe. Thanks for letting me take it for a spin. You are right, it sure was fun. I still think that not being used to your Alta short shifter slowed my shifting down and that probably contributed to my perception of speed. At least I did not say something about how a silverbacks gearbox is smooth compared to a weedhoppers? That might be taken out of context.
Anywho, I am hoping I can at least get the turbo noise via a intake modification. Maybe the burble via the JCW kit?

Things are usually going by 6:00. Folks usually stay until 9:00 or 9:30. See you there.
