Yesterday morning we decided to go to The Wilds outside of Zanesville. We kind of got lost on the way there but ended up finding a fun little stretch of road with some twisties. The tour itself was about 3 1/2 hours long, which was a little long for Lil' B.A.D. (we misjudged the timing and he was definetly ready for a nap). Here are a couple of pics of Lil' B.A.D. in his "safari" outfit:

 

There are alot of "good" roads with some curve hugging challenges. We went from our house in Canal Winchester to Steubenville to see some family. We took the back roads to I-70, got on there at 310, went I-70 to I-77 N, then got on Rt 22 to Steubenville. I have been making that trip several times a year and since I got my cooper s, I will say this is the most fun I had making that trip. My girlfriend was trying to read but was distracted by having to hang on. A trip to The Wilds is in our future. If you make it there, let us know how to get there!

 

The Wilds are great. Lots of fun roads down around there too. The last time I was there was 2 years ago on very cool, windy & cloudy day. Turns out those are just the conditions that those critters like. They were very active & it was the best viewing I've had of the 4 times I've been there.

Wow. Looks like fun. I was there when it first opened. I need to go back. Little B.A.D. looks like he was having fun!!

 

Chuck, Missy and I were talking about how it seemed like the type of place you would like. Those pictures are great, much better then the ones we took with our 007 spy cam. We did get a couple of decent pics of the giraffes and the camels. I'll show Brody the pics of the rhinos tomorrow because we didn't get to see them up close. He was also upset that we couldn't see the Grevy's Zebras better. We decided that if we go back, we are going to try and get there right at 10:00 am before it gets to hot.
