That car is a Clubman Jeff.

Any one with that wonky front end was a Clubman. Wagon or not. It's confusing a lot of people. The only reason MINI chose that name for the new wagon was the fact they couldn't call it a Traveller or Countryman because they let the rites to those names slip away. I'm sure they could have paid for the rights, but that costs money & well they want to make it not spend it.

EDIT... Tim's is a Clubman because of the shape of the front clip, not because it's a wagon.

Clubman just designated that type of front end. They did make a Clubman estate (another possible name MINI probably doesnt own the rights to).

clubman estate:

Thanks Rally, that's what I was trying to convey in my own old fart silverback dumb old way.

Now that one has wood contact paper on the side. Does that make it a Counrty Squire?

Now here is something pretty interesting...the clubman was the first car to come with run-flats...never knew they were around that early

The Mini Clubman and 1275GT were responsible for two motoring "firsts": they were the first vehicles to use a flexi printed-circuit board behind the dash instruments (universal nowadays, but technically advanced for 1969). Secondly, the 1275GT was the first vehicle to be offered with run-flat tyres;
For a pretty good/simple model breakdown and explanation of names....check this out:

I've always hated the Clubman square front end (designed by a Ford designer), but I can see why they had to use that name. I wonder what they'd call a redesigned MINI truck?

That's simple, the Truckman.
