MAG/CLUBMAN UPDATE:

MAG opens its doors at 9:00AM, and someone will be there to meet us. Kris, the sales manager, wants to be there, but his wife is due to squeeze out a critter somewhere around then, and I took pity on him and let him off the hook, if need-be.

I plan to be at the dealership around 8:45, and then we can go in at 9:00 for a tour of the new Clubman. Anyone that wants to head across the street to Bob Evan's afterwards for breakfast is welcome to join Kara and I, but I've asked them if they can do the whole coffee and donuts thing like last year. I'll let you know what they say, but as Kris seems very interested in building a better bridge to the club than has existed previously, I'm hoping that they will. I know they have coffee in any event.

See everyone at 8:45-ish at the Midwest Auto Group MINI showroom in Dublin on Saturday, Feb. 16!

Sue and I will plan to be there. Chuck, we would be most happy to join you at Bob's for breakfast -- what time???? If the weather would be nice, I might even plan to bring the old wagon.

 

If it's nice, you should do it! I'll come early for breakfast if a few people will be there, and I'll bring Fiona and her shiny new interior unless it's wet. Floor holes an' all that.

 

I'm in for Bob Evans....sausage gravy and biscuits....fried mush....omelette and hash browns....I can't wait How about 8:00 AM

I plan to attend before I head to Indianapolis. My girlfriend would probably like some pictures while I'm at it! I'm shooting for 8am for breakfast, but no promises. I should be there in time for the Cluman showing though for sure.

8 am breakfast might be pushing it for me. My niece is staying overnight on Friday, so I'm not sure if wifey would appreciate me getting up early and waking up both dear little angels and then leaving her to deal with them I'll be at MAG by 9:00 though. Maybe we can have a weedhopper breakfast at BE afterwards?

 

I'll probably join you at the later breakfast Brian. I'm trying to convince a new female 02' or 03' MC owner to come with me...

Cooper has found another car to drive

 

We were at MAG this afternoon and checked with Kris - they'll definitely be in next weekend because they can't release them for delivery until next week! 2 or 3 of their initial allotment are already sold, but they'll be at the dealership until next Saturday.

 

Hi Guys, Matt found me on another Forum , I just bought an 05 Cooper S so far I'm in love , as it stands right now the wife and I are planning on the drive down from Akron ,to the breakfast meet up and to check out the clubman,hopefully make the drive over to outmotoring too

They are already "in". I went into MAG for service Friday, and they got them Thursday night. Kinda caught them off-guard, from what I gather. the Hot Chocolate looks good.

Wife and I got to open/poke-around an "S" that was being prepped.

 

They had a Hot Chocolate at the Dtroit Auto Show and it was a nice color, but most importantly it was a well named color it is brown, now if only they could have put little marsha mallows all over it then it would be supper cool. Go ahead sticker vendors take my idea and start selling them, marsha mallows for all!

 

 

Venge has a red Cooper S with a black roof (IIRC from his photos). Nice looking car - it just needs some "You-ification".

Just to be clear.. The normal meet at 8:30am at TH in New Albany is now at the BE across from MAG around 8am. The doors at MAG open at 9am for the Clubman, then a possible trip to Outmotoring after that. Correct?

 

I will be there INSTEAD of meeting at the usual Tim Hortons over in New Albany...I will most likely head back to Out Motoring at 10 for those that want to hang for a bit but will be heading out of town at about 11:30 am...

NO BREAKFAST AT TIMS THIS MONTH! I will most likely go to Tims and round up any MINI's and head over to Mag at around 8:45...
