I will be there. Can't wait to see the classic mini coopers. Dion said there would probably be at least 30.

30?? Last year there were 100 classic Minis including Coopers, S's, Vans, pickups, countryman, estates, mokes, Riley Elf,Woolsely Hornet, the odd Bond Bug, and many other hybrid Suzuki or VTEC powered Minis. Add probably 50 new MINIs to the mix it ought to be a helluva party! See You There!

Anyone interested in attending ST8 should get their room reservation in by 2/5/03 to guarantee availability & rates. It's only $69 per night (2 night min) but includes a really nice continental breakfast setup. You won't need to go anywhere else for breakfast. Be sure to mention you're with the Mini group as they're holding a block of rooms for us. Otherwise you may get told they're booked that weekend.

Im going for sure....One question....Is it to late for the $69.00 room? The other post said before 1/10...either way I'm in.

sounds kike a good reason to do some motoring. Can you reg. at the show? I live here in Fla so I guess I should be there and by then I should have the pulley, intake, exhaust, wires, sway bar, and tires for those who want to see and feel the parts.

It is Feb 5 for the reservation for the rate and guaranteed room. Then the block of rooms is eleased & you take your chances.

You may register at the event. There will only be 150 "goody bags" made up, so if you're 151 or later you won't get one with registration. Since the registration is only $20, go ahead & send it in. The bag contents are worth that.

I am currently trying to find a "New York" style pizzaria here in Birmingham with no luck yet.

One place calling themselves "New York Style" specialized in deep dish pizzas! I walked out without even trying it out of principle!
