Kindly join me, Oilman930, and anyone else who would like to bid a fond farewell to (sniffle...I can barely say it) Donna & Mike.

While they move across country, giving all of us a place to stay when we visit sunny California, they will be sorely missed here. HOWEVER, we have something that can't travel with them...the Tortilla Factory! So, let's gather together and fill their bellies with good food, have great laughs, and drown our sorrows.

When: 2:30pm on November 1, 2003 (it's a Saturday)
Why: To Cry over the move of dear MINI friends

Moving? Well this bites. You guys were some of my favorite DC people.

Can someone give me the address of the Torilla Factory (for internet mapping)? I think I will try and be there as well. Not sure if the significant other is coming yet though.

The Tortilla Factory http://www.thetortillafactory.com is located in The Pine Shopping Center, 648 Elden Street, Herndon VA. The last time we had a big gathering there, the group from Maryland came down along Old Georgetown Pike and were raving about the drive.

For those of you on the Mid-Atlantic MINIs list, Donna and Mike Kacmarick who played a large part in the formation of DC Metro MINIs, are deserting us and moving to Southern California in the coming weeks. We felt the need to have a big sendoff for them so on November 1 at 2:30 we’ll be kicking them out of Virginia at the Tortilla Factory. Details are below…

To minimize confusion, it would really be appreciated if all RSVPs could be made on either minicooperonline or mini2.

Yep - moving West Lost my job with MCI so that sort of escalated our plans that were already in the works...We sure are going to miss our East Coast Motoring buddies though...

Like OH MY GOD!! We could get like totally tanked on some waves before we come over and just like, like gag me with a spoon!!!

Patricia is going to be getting the fun started without me, and hopefully I can get out of my class early enough to make it over before the fun ends. I'm hoping to be out by 4 and then sprint over to Herndon from Manassas.

 

Patricia -- Elizabeth & I will be able to come so make space for us. Like many of the MD folks, we'll need directions.
