Hey all. I am looking for a good shop to install stripes. Hopefully the pricing ain't too crazy either.

 

im going to a place in cambridge monday to have my stripes put on, i ordered custom stripes online... i dont remember the name of the place in cambridge but i have their number..617 623 2838

hey check out sonnys in saugus. www.sonnysglasstinting.com i just had my done couple weeks ago and they were great. They did my windows and custom design stipes that i saw online. I just gave them a picture and that was it. They have a ton of vinyl (3m) to choose from or you can have them get anything that they dont have on hand. Great customer service and the price was a lot better that what dealer charges for generic ones that they sell.

 

I'm getting mine done by Jeremy Hosegood of Out of Line Design (http://www.getoutoflinedesign.com/) who came highly recommended by Mini specialists Greasy's Garage. In just a few minutes with him today when I meet with him, I was totally impressed by his Mini knowledge, attention to detail, designer eye, etc. He has done many Minis in the area.

 

YOU! It's easy to do if you keep them wet 'till they are where you want them, squeegee out the air bubbles and just take your time. I've replaced the bonnet stripes and added boot stripes, easy peasy. There are how-to videos on youtube.

 

How about trimming them? That's my real worry since I have dual roof.
