Does anyone have a warning triangle they want to part with? (part # 71600141157) my parts dept. says that it is a Euro part only and is not in the US system. Where else can I source this part?

I've seen many generic ones in auto parts stores - or done it have to be the "MINI" one?

I suppose , if a generic one would fit in the mounts it would work, but I would prefer the "stock" one.

Out of curiosity, where would you mount it? (or would you?)

I just ordered one from a Canadian Mini Dealer. Just check miniusa.com for the directory.

Here are the part numbers for the entire triangle assembly...
Brackets (there is a left and a right) - 51467059722 & 51467059723
Bolt kit (4 screws) - 64110141012
Warning Triangle - 71600141157

MINI Sport in the UK hooked me up. While you are at it, you might want to order the toggle panel so that all of the holes are filled.

If you do order from them, rember that you don't have to pay the VAT tax but you do get a hefty shipping bill (the triangle isn't light).

If you are wondering if the MINI luggage still fits, it does.
