All I need is the torx. Its a t-30 with tamper proof bit

do you mean the torx driver? have you tried www.mcmaster.com ? just do a search for torx. I believe they have both the fasteners and the bits in various tamper-proof styles.

Will a dealership sell you just the tool?

I can't get rid of mine since I might need it if I ever take off my rack. . . .

Grainger will have it. just look for a T handle wrench with a torx on the end, same thing as the allen key's with a t handle.

if you want it, i can get it thru our buisness account tax free and ship it out to you.

Grainger doesnt have it. Checked already and no t-handle tamper proof versions

Twister....You know i got you. Ill order one today if you like and have to you buy the end of the week hopefully. My pictures doesnt really show a clear shot of the tool because it looks L shaped but i know its supposed to be a T

Not sure why you want to bother with a dedicated driver... I'd rather have set with replacable bits...

I just do. Limited space in the tool pouch and nothing else uses a tamper proof on the car.

Just a questions: it looks to me like you can use a tamper proof torx wrench anywhere you can use a regular one. . .

I might just buy myself one of those multi-tool torx kits so I never have to worry about having the right one. . .
