How do these springs change ride and handeling ,and compare to the stock springs? I might be a buyer. Thanks Joe D.

joe theres a two part to your question.. the springs them selves will make it a little stiffer.. not much on highway on very minor bumps.. Handleing will improve quite a bit over the stock springs..

Second part has to do with my question on the vaulving The older shocks on the 02 and early 03 Mini were stiffer handled better but wasnt much for comfort. (everyone complained (non-racers)) So Mini soften up the shocks to make it smoother and ride better.. my problem since i havent gone to a full package yet.. i had to replace just the front two shocks due to an accident.. which means i have two of the stiffer shocks in the rear.. and the softer ones in the front.. This is why im interested but only if its the stiffer vaulved ones.

Mugami, These are 2003 struts. Thanks for helping with the question from Joe.

Joe D., as Mugami pointed out, the springs lower the car, and thus, its center of gravity. This helps to decrease body roll, and improve cornering. The spring rates are similar to stock (according to MiniMania) and actually ride a bit nicer than stock with the exception of potholes and expansion joints.

From What I've learned I think I need the M7s( I'm an old fart and I've already exceeded my fun driving alotment.) I just want to get the low down and be as comfortable as possible doing so.
