2004 Mini Cooper S - 6 Speed Stick

Indi blue metallic with white roof, white stripes. Has sports package, cold weather package, heated seats, power dual sunroofs, xenon headlights with power washers, CD player, climate control, trip computer, power windows, cruise control, multi function steering wheel, run flat tires. Also included: 3-year/36,000 mile maintenance program, 4-year-50,000 mile warranty/roadside assistance. 13K miles, $25,000. It's my baby but I have to sell it because I am moving to the Land Down Under!

Sorry about the mistake in describing the color - now I have the information in front of me, so I think I can answer most questions. The in-service date is April 28,2004.

The car is in Seattle - it's available immediately - I know it's sad to have my first post be an offer to sell - but we plan to buy another MINI once we get to Australia!

Perhaps you meant to say Indi Blue? I don't think Hyper was available on the 04s. Good luck with your car sale!

PS: You might also want to mention where the car is located.

You might also want to state the 'in-service' date - that will make a difference on the service and warranty. Note that your asking is very close to what a new '05 would cost, similarly equipped.

Sad to see that someone's first post is one to sell their MNI. I'll have to agree with some of the others here, the asking price is a bit too much.

Good luck on the sale though.

Sad to say, but we are now entering into a time in which used MINI's are no longer going to sell for the same as new ones like they did in 2002 and 2003.

Dealers now have cars on the lots selling for MSRP and wait times for orders is getting shorter and shorter. If you check out completed ebay auctions, you will find that about 90% of the MINI's being offered do not reach their inflated reserve prices anymore.

Although I sometimes wish I had sold and replaced my MINI about a year ago, I am also looking forward to being able to pick up a nice 2003 Cooper CVT for my new wife in the next year or so.

Now I wonder when we might start seeing new MINI's going for less than MSRP?

<swami hat>

They may well be able to keep at MSRP until the new models come out it '06. Remember, here on the west coast, we still have waiting lists just to ORDER the car and ridiculous markups (hello! out of State purchase, anyone?) I'm betting this year is the year of freebies, and perhaps a rational allocation methodology by corporate. Are WE the only ones who see the misallocation? That, and people will actually be able to buy a used Cooper for less than a new one.

Having read your comments, I've dropped the price some - I think you all are probably right! Thank you for your help. You're right - it's sad to have to sell, but we're moving to Australia, and the shipping/customs/conversion costs were too much. We'll just have to buy another one once we get settled!
