If I'm thinking the same thing, I've got one. Do you mean the aluminum shield that is anchored at the base of the battery box? I'm guessing so... I removed it and the battery box for a project last Fall. I think it's in fine condition. If this is what you want, I can snap a photo so you can see how it looks. Let me know...

That is the part I need. A photo really isn't necessary. I'll give you $10 plus shipping to 38401. Does that sound fair?

Heck, I wouldn't know what fair is for something like this . I've sold quite a few things, often at 25% of the cost from the MINI dealership. So, what will MINI sell it for? I can call them today. If they sell for 40 - deal!

While under the split-level portion of the house today doing some plumbing, I stumbled upon what I think you are talking about... let me know.

Is there anyting else you might need? Maybe the shielding that goes around the perimeter of the battery box, the box itself, or the hold-down bracket, rear grab handles, rear mats, rear control arms, stock exhaust parting, stock shift ****? Gosh, I know I'm forgetting a few items .

To be honest, the hassle of going to ship something is almost not worth the money - 10 bucks in this case...

still need one...

That's the part in question. I can't think of any other stock parts I might need. Sorry - but if I screw something else up, you'll be first to know.

Listen, after an email exchange with UNIChip today, I will be shipping back my harness to them tomorrow. SO, since I'll be making the time during work to take care of that, I can also ship you the skid plate for the battery. 10 bucks is fine. do you need the 4 screws? I'm sure that I have them, but I'd rather not go under the house to get them after work .

And how can we transact really quick? You mentioned PayPal. I think I registered some time ago, but it expired. Heck, I forgot. The last thing I shipped that size or weight was like 5 to 7 bucks. Let me know how you would like to proceed...

AFAIK, Paypal registration doesn't expire. And no thanks, I'm plenty screwed already. PM me your PP email addy - unless, of course, you prefer something more complicated..
Thanks! Bodinski

Oh, nothing major. A few of us were having the DSC light come-on occassionally, or some start issues. Apparently this has now been resolved, and for those of us with those earlier harnasses, we can get them retro-fitted. UNIChip has been very professional about this situation...
