I am trying to replace a bent rim, and have been looking into buying a single R84 wheel to no avail. Some others mentioned needing a single replacement wheel. I am curious, who out there might still need a single for a replacement, spare, whatever, as I am looking into just giving up and buying a set of four, and selling two or three of them.

also, what would everyone be willing to pay for a single wheel (with or without tire)?

I need a single rim, V spoke design in silver. price range $75 - 100. I've seen sets of for in the $350-400 range so I think my price is reasonable.

 

I've been looking for 1 s-lite to mount a spare on as well. If you buy 4 and sell 3, let me know.

 

I have extra s-lites, when I bent a rim, I got disgusted and bought the V-spokes off of eBay.

 

I think I bent one of my rims.
So I would be interested in buying one from you.

I have a spare white 16" wheel. I had kerbed one:




So I bought a replacement, but my work colleague repaired the original and did a super job! I just took a couple of pics and linked them - I can email big versions if wanted.
I don't use this wheel so I can sell it if you wish - perhaps $75 (half what the new one cost?)

 

Bummer...I need a gray one. Not white.
I'm still not sure if I need a new rim yet or not.
I am taking it in tomorrow to have it checked out.
I will know for sure then.

I've got some extra S-Lites - silver, with Goodyear All Season tires - one without any marks and the other three with minor curb rash. $120 each, including shipping - shipped anywhere in the continental US. Ok, so I was bidding on Ebay for 4 R84 Silver rims with tires, and was outbid at the last minute by... get this... $1.50. UGH!!! Damn me for helping friends move during the end of an auction.

So I won't have any rims for myself, and none to sell to others. Any of you guys happen to pick these up for $376.50? If so, wanna sell one or two?!?

Hmm... any idea what shipping to eastern PA would cost? I've been regretting not getting white wheels ever since it was toolate to change my order, and I've been planning to have mine powdercoated white anyway.

 

I checked: a 20lb package is less than $10 shipped UPS ground.

 

I find that FedEx ground is less expensive than UPS.
