Good luck importing them. They are very expensive just like other recaro seats. But I recall the reason for not having those seats here is because the US standards and those seat mounted airbags.

I've inquired directly with Cooper Works and they will not sell directly to the US market. I still may have one of my UK friends purchase through UK dealer and ship over in a sea container with the company i work for. These are for the JCW Sparco versions (the one's with holes through the headrest area for harness straps).

I have also placed a casual inquiry with Mikey the Mini-www.newminiparts.com, who is currently judging intersest for the JCW GP seats (Recaros) and checking costs on the Mini2 website.

I think the cheapest way to do it is get some SPARCO Milanos from a US vendor and have them reupholstered, and get the JCW logo custom stiched. On a side note check the market place every once in a long while a set will pop up there.

Not sure if you've checked cost of Sparco Milanos but I believe these are about $1000 a piece here in the USA not counting any upholstering if you want to get it to match, so the Mini OEM price is actually pretty reasonable all things considered. The desirable thing to me about the JCW seats is they can be ordered with heat option if that's important to you.
