JCW side vents - Where are they?

I saw a picture on the web today. The MINI had John Cooper WORKS black side vents with amber lights.

Does anyone know where these can be obtained?

Here's a link: http://www.bmwworld.com/pics/mini/jc...badge_yell.jpg

Thanks!

Looks like they were homemade, but they do look neat!

I don't think so since yellow is no longer available in an S. I'd have to say they are homemade

That is how they badge any coopers that recieve the JCW conversion. It has been like that since they brought out the first MC JCW kit. Its just the exterior badge applied to the OEM MC side vents.

I have seen JCWs with the badge below the side markers. I am assuming that is the normal application.

Per MINI2, they were the original sidemarkers on the first JCW cars badged that way. Not made anymore.

What would be the best way to approach this mod on my '04 MCS? Get the OEM MC side vent and a Cooper badge or does someone have a better approach.

I really like the looks (except I'd go with a smoked lens) and want to pursue.

If you look at my gallery you will see the side shot of my car. If you click on it and make it larger you will see that i used 3M double sided tape and put the JCW emblem on.Were did i get the emblem you ask?Its a key chain with the loop filed off. You can get one at most dealers.I think the side vent was done the same way.I put one on my dash as well.

Perhaps these would be up your alley? I was thinking of painting the "S" blue in my case:
