Yeah, they are supose to be available from the factory on all models soon... this just seems a little faster than what I read. I wonder how the price (including installation) is effected - with factory install and all etc.

But How About with the Automatic Transmission

Bigger Question: When will they approve installation with the Automatic Tramsmission in the MCS...coupe or cabrio?

Yeah there seems to be some confusion as to what is, and is not, available in the JCW range.

Here are the two limitations, to the best of my knowledge:
  • JCW Suspension NOT available for convertibles (yet, if ever)
  • JCW Tuning Kit NOT available for automatics (yet)
However, the reverse is also true. The suspension kit IS available for (non-convertible) automatics and the tuning kit IS available for (non-automatic) convertibles.

So basically, if you own an MCSCa, all you can get currently, performance-wise, from the JCW range are the wheels, brakes & strut brace (ok so the brace isn't actually OUT yet but will be any day now). Aftermarket will definitely be worth looking into in this case (not that it ever isn't worth consideration!).

I hope this clears up some confusion.

Hey guys I just picked up my JCW cab. this weekend and would like to check out some other JCW cars in my area (DC metro) . Just clicked off about 150 miles of break in 2 days. Gotta get thru these quick. Hope to meet a few of you guys and hit the corners fast.

Just in..........THIS CAR IS F -ING GREAT.

BTW.. I'll be looking into a tighter handling set-up. opinions welcomed. I may go for complete coilover set-up since the lack of OEM equipment available.

Welcome! You'll have to come to the next meet... the fact your JCW MCSC is also Hyper Blue makes me want to take a picture of ours both side by side.

Sounds like a plan! Let me know and I'll be there. So far only 210 miles in 3 days. Can't wait till 1200....It's gonna sound soooo sweeet!!!!!

I think I'll go to MINIUSA and fully opt an JCW MCSC. I'll bet I can break $40,000 easy. Guess I won't be getting one.

Yep, fully optioned MCSC JCW is $43,325. However, a MCC with the options i want list for slightly under $24,000....maybe there is hope.

Don't forget that the price you get on MINIUSA does NOT include dealer labor!
