I have about 1300 miles on my '22 JCW Hardtop Auto. I mentioned this a few years ago when I owned my '19 IO edition. Screw MPG, I am just going to enjoy this car. I drive it in non sport manual 99% of the time and just keep the revs above 2000rpm. On long trips it gets incredible MPG at 75-85mph. Good enough for me. The JCW 229hp engine is an incredible engine. And the eight sp auto has a great gear selection. 7th and 8th are great for sipping fuel on long trips, while 1st thru 6th are great close ratios. At 70yo, I have owned mostly manual cars, but these modern transmissions perform so much better.
