F55/F56 Mini GP3 Production
Ureka, my GP3 is in transit! The ship is the Grand Hero, but that is all I have been able to find out so far. We are checking into ship tracking systems to see if we can determine exactly where it is! It is due to arrive at the port in Baltimore the 14ht of August. That is all the information that mini can provide at this point. I should have it before the end of the month though and that is the best news I have had in a while. Here is the information with a link to vessel finder for those that are still waiting for their new GP3.The current position of GRAND HERO is at North East Atlantic Ocean (coordinates 49.95223 N / 13.7934 W) reported 36 hours ago by AIS. The vessel is en route to the port of Baltimore, USA, sailing at a speed of 15.5 knots and expected to arrive there on Aug 13, 10:05.
The vessel GRAND HERO (IMO: 9339806, MMSI 372857000) is a Vehicles Carrier built in 2007 (13 years old) and currently sailing under the flag of Panama.

Ureka! My GP 3 is at the dealership and I will be able to pick it up today or tomorrow, most likely tomorrow as it will require preparation prior to pick up and it may take a day or two to accomplish that! FINALLY, it has been an agonizingly long wait!
Finally!!! And congratulations!!
GP3 #1465 is in its new home! We drove the JCW to pick it up and had fun once we left the boring Interstate traffic that that was bumper to bumper until we were about 30 miles from home and then we had some real twisty fun. I already discovered, well my wife discovered our tiny rock gardens inside the whatever they are called around the wheel wells. The torque and acceleration in mid mode is stupendous and I can hardly wait to break it in and see what it will do in GP mode. It is a dramatically different beast than our JCW with much stiffer suspension and more aggressive gearing. I am in love with it already with about 100 miles on it. I will read all about the differences from what we know from our 2016 JCW. I am 99% sure at this point that this love affair promises to be a long and good one! Mini is really going for electrification and I am an old school petrol head, so no thank you. The speedo did register triple digits on the way home. What a rush!
MITEY2 now has a new stable mate, TWISTR! Hey Jim, when are we going to get together for some good runs! I am sure Ross will be up for some if he is around. The Tail, Wayah, et. al. are singing the sirens song for us! We may have to make a run pretty soon as I don't think I can wait for the MSSD if it even happens! Boy, does this baby talk to you when you get into it, what a sweet sound!

Is there a procedure to set the engine off feature so that you don't have to activate the feature to allow it not to turn off the engine every time you start the GP3. It was a simple process for the F56 JCW, but I have not been able to find a way to apply that to the GP3. Just a minor annoyance, but for the money we spent on this gem I should not have to put up with aggravation!

Mine won't shut off the engine in the Sport mode but in the Mid and Eco modes the default is that it will. However I'm pretty sure I can change that, and maybe even the suspension setting in those modes (there's a screen when I enter the 3 modes with options).
The GP3 only has 2 modes regular everyday driving mode or GP or beast mode. My JCW hatch like your Clubman has 3 modes, eco, standard, and sport. I have the NM module and pro exhaust on my JCW and it produces 279 horsepower in sport mode. I don't know what the GP3 has in normal or whatever it is, but in GP mode it has 306 horsepower.
the GP doesn’t have sport/normal/eco-it honestly stays in something closer to normal mode (throttle response isn’t stupidly shortened, the steering is not as heavy as sports mode makes it, and it doesn’t have anti lag) the sports transmission mode (s1-s8) or manual mode (m1-m8) don’t allow the the engine to shutoff at a stop. The suspension doesn’t have settings as it’s not dynamic so that doesn’t matter.
