Hey, I guess it's a little intro also
We sold our R55s two months ago and got a moonwalk grey jcw.
I work at a MINI dealer and the red roof/moon walk grey combo was killing me every time I saw it in the show room. So we took it home.
It already had all the black lines.

So anyways, here are the two things I did this week end on the jcw.
First was the lumbar support, I did not even look if it had a adjustable lumbar support. All the other f56 jcw I have tried had it. But I found out that the base seats dont have the options in 2018. So I swapped the stock one for the adjustable version
It even has the hole in the foam allready.

One hole left and I'm done.

Next was the gloss black cover instead of the chrome. It just came out in etk, so I asked the parts guy to keep me one when they get them.
We got 5 last week, so I took one asap. Time to remove the chrome up front.

All cleaned up

Looks great!

There are press on pieces you could have bought and saved yourself a few hours taking the bumper off though.

Ok called Mini Brossard (it was on the tag frame on one of the pictures)
etk is Mini's parts ordering system.
The part number is 51137449207
Not yet available in US. Maybe everyone that wants one will call their Mini Parts desk and ask for it so they see a demand for it in the US.

I wanted oem, it's better built and clipped in.
Also cheaper after the us/can exchange rate. Shipping is also going to be expensive to my house.

It's not time consuming to do also, you can pull the bumper in and out under 1h.

I added a front splitter, and the bumper and undertray both come off in about 15-20 minutes. Not quite as quick as my previous 06 JCW, but still not bad at all.
