Chile Red with Black top?

Go a allocation slot for next month, I have it colored as chile red with a black top and black rims.... do you all think that it would be too much red?? considering the red brakes and red lining that the JCW has??

Depends on how much you like Red. I saw an non MCS at a local dealer with the JCW exterior package in that exact color combination. It looked pretty good...if you like red cars of course.

I think it'll compliment the other red bits of the car nicely.

Welcome.

The Chili red with the black top / black wheel looks good.

I like the combo.

After looking at real pictures I'm sold with the red, at first I thought it might be too much red, but as you said.. It really compliments the jcw red.

The red/black (or in this case gray) combo is common among JCW cars, and with the black top it's good. Get an all red interior and you gotta problem though! I have about the right amount of red interior in my car.

With the red inlay interior, do you think that adds too much red?

I think the red w/ black roof is a great color combo. The fact that its a chill red vice the S class and below is deffy a good thing. If I wasn't so bend on having a red roof (since red on red is way to much red it think) I would have bought the red Mini from South Shore Mini (link below). I agree with earlier marks that shying away from a red interior is a good call.

Red/Black roof is a fantastic combo. Skip the red interior!

I like the red combo on the interior, because the rest is mostly black, gives some contrast.

Good luck .

Oh not at all, the interior looks great. Remember, the dominant color is BLACK (seats, carpet, headliner, door panels, dash panels, dash, etc). Mine has red colorline, red oval door trim plastic, and red vertical dash panels, and it's about right IMO. Not a fan of all black interiors, reminds me of a Mazda (your only choice). Minis are unique in letting you choose a different colorline, sometimes different door panel colors (my 2006 was a yellow/gold, great), and the trim in a different color. Take advantage of it otherwise get a red Mazda Speed 3 and call it good lol.
