Remove them, tape the emblem off and Plasti-Dip them. Be sure to remove the old double sided tape and use 3M mounting tape to remount them. There are two small dowel London the back of the emblem that will ensure you to mount them back in the right position. I've done this to my MINI and several others with great results. Use fishing line to cut through the tape holding the emblem on.

BTW, painters tape works the best for taping off the MINI logo.

So freaking mean. I'm guessing you are pulling off all the chrome? Great looking MINI.

Not all. I'm not super happy with the vinyl solution for covering the belt line and doing the doors in CF would run about $500, which is more than I want to spend for handle covers.
Probably order the side scuttles from WMW and maybe the CF gas door.

Tint that way way down and it'll look extra mean.

Maybe stopping here with the last couple of black bits from WMW. Car is still (appearance-wise) all factory.
I did briefly consider blacking at the marker lights at my local stereo shop where they spray lacquer and clear coat lenses.
Now if it would quit raining for 48 hours or so, I can wash it.

I like it, some silver turn signal bulbs will remove the egg yolks in the lights.

Now you need to get the black grill trim and I would definitely get the black out side markers too - just put them on mine and it would look even better on yours!
Oh and screw $130 for the gas cap - I wanted black to match the rest, not CF, so I got mine vinyl wrapped, along with the headlight washers.

And I was surprised what a difference blacking out the beltline made on the flow and uniformity of the car - just ties all the black lines together nicely and loses that chrome 'break' in the middle.

Good luck man, nice clubbie. Wish I could risk going that dark on the tint!

Here's the gas cap - not a great shot, but it's the only one I have right now. And mine is way dirtier than yours, but I need to let all the vinyl and tint cure for a couple of days!

What vinyl did you put on the cap?
