JCW New JCW Inro
New JCW Inro
So it finally happened….we’re a Mini-household. I apologize for the long intro post but….my wife just picked up a 2013 Mini Countryman JCW on Saturday. We had the stripes done by Mini Motoring Graphics. We didn’t like the OEM stripes and went with a Viper Stripe. We also had a full clear bra kit installed by “Protecting Your Paint” in East Long Meadow, Ma. Great Guys! I'll upload pics later....work computer isn't cooperating.
Now to my point…she’s going to want more power. She’s coming from a WRX and I can already tell she wants more. I’ve noticed that parts for the JCW are few and far between. I think the Helix FMIC fits in the R60, but I haven’t’ seen anything about a CAI or an ECU upgrade...nothing. I’m searching around and there seems to be a trickle of things for the Countryman S, but nothing yet about fitment for the JCW. Does anyone have any info?
Here’s a simple question: Is the oil filter in the JCW the same oil filter as the Countryman S? I’m getting ready to buy a bulk order of oil filters now. Thanks gain guys! I hope to contribute more to the community now that I have a Mini!
BTW…I almost bought a Cooper JCW a few years back but ended up going with a BMW 135i and I love it!

Exactly why I'm waiting to replace my 2012 R56 with a 2.0L Countryman JCW when they arrive in the years ahead. There's no substitute for cubic inches...
Very nice JCW! Welcome and enjoy.
