RED JCW carbon Dash - M I Crazy

Hi All I Could've swear that I saw a RED carbon fiber dash for a 1st gen last week but I've been searching for over a week now and still cant see where I would've seen that I remember It was for sale and there was pics from front and back that clearly showed that it was real CF.....

Does it even exist???

Please help me I think i'm going nuts

it look pretty awesome if it was anyways....

I tought it was too at first but the pattern wasnt all red there was some black threads intertwined in the pattern too and it was also visible from the back.

I recall seeing the red one somewhere recently (not necessarily here, I'm on a few forums). I too, recall it being real CF. But it was a custom or aftermarket job, NOT a genuine JCW piece. As far as I know, that doesn't exist in red. FWIW, I have the real deal, and it's an overlay. From the back it looks like normal injection molded plastic.

I'm on many forums too or too many forums (depends if you ask my wife ) and my browser history got swept after last update for a unknown reason

Real CF could be made...would it be worth the time and effort? (Or money) I kind of doubt it...

I think you might be looking at this Kevlar laminated dash... I almost went for it, but all my gear is not this color...

If I remember, this is a two step process. The first, its painted black for the base. Second it's dipped into a vat where the upper red pattern lies onto the dash. Kind of like the old decals on models. I might be wrong, it's been a few years since I watched it done.
