Aero kit WISH

I wish they offered pre-painted side skirts ONLY. I don't care for the front/rear bumper.

Even if I purchased the kit, I can't afford install labor charges :-(

You can buy then but they are enrealitically expensive. I was quoted 1170 for prepainted, installed side skirts. I may buy them from outmotoring and have a body shop paint and install. However it would probably only save a couple hundred bucks

I recently had just the side skirts added to my '08 MCS but callahan00 is right, it was relatively expensive to have it done.

Here is another thread where people are also talking about this very topic:

It's the opposite for me. I like the front/rear bumper but the side skirts I can live without. Actually some of the front spoilers from Japan and Europe are much nicer than the JCW, they're so expensive though. I wish somebody would come out with front spoiler and perhaps some sort of different defuser that uses the same mat-black finish as the existing trim.

My suggestion is if you want just the side skirts, buy an entire kit and sell the front and rear bumpers.

I assure you won't have a problem selling them and recouping some money... it'll cost you faaaar less than buying just side skirts.

I couldn't find the pdf for the install, anyone have it handy? If I'm a total novice, is it advisable for me to try to attempt and install the aero kit myself?

The worst part is because you're not use to it, you'll probably break a lot of clips. (I'm in the bodyshop business and still break a lot of clips when it comes to minis...lol)

The good news is the kit comes with most of them. (you'll probably still need a few for the fender flares if you're not careful)
