2006 JCW

I have a chance to buy a DG/B 2006 Mini that's JCW from the factory. The only hitch is it has 65k miles on it. Everything appears to be tip top, but I don't know if I should do it. They want 23k for it, which seems high with that kind of miles. Equipment I can see is Nav, heated leather seats, auto wipers, headlight washers and a sunroof. How do you tell if the car has bluetooth installed... the steering wheel has the buttons, but I don't know yet without reading the owners manual to tell if it is equiped? Here's the VIN: WMWRE33596TL18415 Should I do it?

High price

I'd go 18 to 19 on this one because of the miles. To put it into perspective, there is a MCS GP on the market place with under 10000 miles that is going for 28k. Thats 5k more w/ 1/6 miles and is a potential collectable.

Miminut... thanks for the perspective.... I did the deal at 19k and they fought tooth and nail over it. And OMG this thing is fast. Much faster than my 2002 MC. I saw that GP on Car.com, but I can't do a GP because I have to take my 2 kids to school in the mornings. Need the backseat at this time. I'll be posting some photos asap.

At first look, I'm wondering where the JCW badge is.

JCW Badge

It's there, just partially obscured by the license plate holder. Now, if you can get rid of that ugly damn plate holder........

I guess that's from a bad angle and with my phone's camera. I'll update my gallery after the snow clears. And unfortunately Alaska requires a front license plate so I have to keep that ugly thing there or get some other way to mount a front plate.

Here's the badge up close...

Congrats! Here is a possible remedy on our site for the front licensed plate holder. Spent 4 winters in Alaska. Where do you get service up there?

Buzzsaw... thanks for the info on that plate holder, but I already ordered a kit from Way Motor Works that looks pretty sweet too.

With no local Mini Dealer and the BMW shop not doing service, I take mine to Accurate Imports. They have alot of Mini background and have treated me pretty well.
