It's my understanding after contacting John Copper Garages that they should be available at Mini dealers the end of October. They don't incorporate air bags.

Interesting. I asked them the airbag question via email and was told they DO incorporate the airbags and all the necessary hookups. After that I saw some info to the contrary elsewhere so I sent the JC folks another email asking the same question and got the same answer. I guess we probably won't know for sure until they actually arrive.

You could be right about the airbags. I am more concerned about the cost plus installation cost, hope their not to overpriced.

I had read that the JCW seats will have a connector to make thru pass for the air bag warning light. They will not have the airbags, but may have a heat seating option.

If I change to aftermarket seats will all my airbags be disabled? Or just the ones that were in the seats?

Just the seat.

Replace your stock seat with a La Z Boy or an old stool, but never the old stool in your La Z Boy!

What about a lawn chair?

I heard it was against the law to tamper with your airbags...anyone know if this is true?
