Just bought an 03 with the JCW package...got a great deal ...plus only 26K miles..hard to tell from new...what kind of gas mileage can I expect on this given that I am a conservative driver ? thanks

Congrats on the new car! (it's JCW)
It really depends on what kind of driving you do. I average 28MPG. High of 35.9 on the hiway on non-crappy non-CA gas. Low of 13 on the track.
I'd guess 25-32 average.

you got a cooper w/ jcw? is it the original tuning kit or the sound kit? if it's the tuning kit then congratulations, buddy, you got a rare gem! my jcw mcs gets crappy mileage for a small car, ~30mpg. but she goes!

Ah, didn't see that it was a Cooper. In that case, add a few MPG to my guess.

Dang I missed it too! Id image you could get into the high thirties if shifting low, using cruise and all that stuff...

. . . of course, you may be a conservative driver now, but a few weeks with your new car may change that
