The part is listed here: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...=51&fg=30&hl=7
However, it might not be in the MINIUSA parts catalog and you may need to have it shipped from Europe. Here's another thread on the topic: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=54653

I do BMW and MINI parts and I couldn't get BMW to ship one from Germany(that's where all these shelves are). I even had my boss call, but they still wouldn't do it.
Anyway, I found this thread...
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...d.php?t=116163
...found someone with a location in Germany and sent a PM.
I contacted WP4LDU for Phil to see if he would get one and ship it over. He was great and willing to help out.

I know the shelf debate is like the rear wiper issue, but honestly I carry absolutely nothing in my car -- I can literally drive it onto the track and go for it (Well, I have to install the harness before that.) The glove box was always empty and rattled...so it had to go. I removed the door but it looked crappy, hence the parcel shelf. It simply looks neat, but will never have anything put on it!

Hi DrPhilGandini,
I've been trying to find a way to get one for some time now. How much did it end up costing you, including the rubber insert? Thanks!

Well, the exchange rate sucks at present, but it cost under $100. But remember, Henry did this as a favor to me, and I don't want to put him on the spot to become our "man in Germany". He's not getting compensated for his time and effort costs and I'm worried about that. I'm sure there are enough people in Europe though that we can spread the burden around so as not to offend, and always be available to return the favor.

Don't worry: I had no intention to impose on your source for exactly those reasons. I've been working on my own connection, afterall. Just wanted to know your total cost. Thanks for the quick reply!

Thanks for posting that Phil, as I also don't want Henry to feel like he has an obligation. The thread I linked above has quite a few people over there.
