Where to find clear side markers???

Does anyone know where to find the clear bumper sidemarkers that replace the ugly orange and red ones on the front and rear of the car?

Thanks!

Legal in Cali?

Hey- I've been thinking about grabbing some of those...

Anyone know a non-eBay resource? Also, how (where) can I find if these are legal in the great state of Schwarznegger? (That is, California)

Come to think of it, I believe I saw something similar on wikedgolf's MINI the other day...

No problemo!

DAMN are they expensive for what they are.

I'd prefer to find outside of ebay as well, but unless someone points me to another vendor... ???

I got mine on eBay too. The seller was ProExhaust and its the same vendor that thefuturequeen and a couple others have used. I put red and orange LEDs in them so they still light up the right color.

I had these on my MINI but after a slight mishap I needed to replace one. Not a good thing! My only option was to purchase an entire new set, and that was not going to happen. I went back to stock and tinted them out. Good luck finding a cheaper set and in the future finding replacements for single or pairs of them.

I even considered being a reseller of these from Taiwan, but was informed I needed to purchase them in a lot of 200 uinits. That to was not going to happen.

I think the way to go is to go the opposit route and simply black them out with one of Outmotoring's blackout kits... They're still visible at night but in the day they blend in with the rest of the black trim...

I just bought one of the sets linked -- kind of expensive, but I think they'll look good.

I looked around quite a bit, and couldn't find anything besides these eBay sellers.

Also, note that despite what anything says, in most states these are not legal -- using amber and red bulbs will help (and I think will keep them just as safe), but technically these pieces must reflect amber in the front and red in the back (rather, you need a red reflector on the side at the back of the car, and an amber one on the side at the front of the car). There is a seperate rule for lighting up in the appropriate color versus reflecting. (see this site; this is for the national code that a number of states have adopted).

Having said that, I doubt you'll get harassed, especially if you install appropriate colored bulbs.

I buy wholesale for my shop and absolutely hate it when they try to force minimum number orders onto you. There's no way I could get rid of 50 let alone a lot of 200!!
