Know where to get A-pillar guage pods?

I knwo this was discussed a while back but I am looking for a A-pillar guage pod, does anyone know anyone that makes one for the mini specifically? I am wanting to hodl two guages. The main reason I am going this route is that I have the chrono/navigation pack so putting two guages on each side is not my thing nor on the top so I am trying something different.
Thanks

I did a 15 second google of MINI A pillar gauge pods. I don't mind helping, but you could have done this yourself.

I'd like to know as well. I know I've seen photos from people that have them...

EDIT - Those would work and I know I've seen that site before, but I thought that someone made a replacement arch cover with the gauges molded in? Or am I misremembering?

IMHO, pods like those shown just look tacky. Is that Fake CF on them too?

If they dont sell a full replacement panel, it never looks right.

I found a suitable replacement, by using roll bar pods on the a pillar. I'm sure most of you have already sen the picture of mine, but here it is one more time for reference.

Great link, Minichef - thanks a million.

If I'm reading that site correctly, the A-piller mount only costs £25.54? That's only 48.0884 USD as of today's exchange rate. Is that right?? If so, that's much cheaper than a gauge pod or other steering column-mounted solution. Surely I'm misreading it... And they look pretty good IMHO:

Only problem is you have to look accross the car to read them

Well, my MP3 player is just about there, and that's really no problem. I wonder how these attach? if they can be removed without marring or damaging the pillar then I DEFINITELY am interested in these... The only thing that bugs me about adding gauges is the high cost of the brackets - an extra $150-$250 bucks just for the bracket on top of the expensive gauges really pinches. For $48 however, I wonder just how good they look... for instance, I wonder if the back of the gauges are exposed and visible to someone standing outside the car?

Actually guys if you explore further they have them available for a Left hand sided driven car as well. Therefore you dont have to look across the car to read them. I am very interested in these as well.
Thanks

And actually the exchange rate at the price they list is
25.54 EUR
= 32.4568 USD

They are available in either carbon or normal black that I would probably spray paint the stock grey pillar color.

you might want to check and see if there is a stamp on your a-pillar trim, right next to the windshield glass that says, "AIRBAG". not readily visible when sitting normally in the seat but if you lean forward and look you might see it.

if you have that stamp you might not want to be putting gauges on the trim.

That's a complete myth....no MINI comes with airbags in the a-pillar. The stamp is just there because the anchor for the headliner airbag is right behind the top of the A-pillar.

The a-pillar comes off JUST A LITTLE bit at the top....but nothing major that would cause problems

Now THAT's good info... I was imagining having a gauge plant in my face in an accident.

I'm also looking for an A-Pillar replacement for 2 gauges... I use to have one in my 1991 MR2 Turbo that I got from www.gaugepods.com

They dont have one for the MINI, but I'm sure if we push them, they will make one... I remember we had to push them on my old car....

Maybe we can setup a group buy???? I would be interested..

I'm still digging the aggressiveness of pillar mounted gauges. Has anyone else tried it or found more pics of different setups with a full replacement panel?

I dont think any company offers a full replacement panel yet....you could easily mold the snap on parts to the pillar
