Hey guys! So, basically, I have the Click & Drive system installed on my F56 that holds my iPhone 6. I use that to stream music and use GPS when necessary. I have an old junk iPhone 5 that I'm looking to display some gauges on, and want to "cheaply" mount it up somewhere. Obviously the key spot is already filled with my actual phone. I know ProClip makes a clip for the side of the center instrument screen, but all of their iPhone holders that mount to it are clunky and big. Ideally, something that could mount to the a-pillar would be amazing. I came across this... does anyone know if there is anything out there that would work for an F56?

Well, I guess that answers that! I wasn't sure if there was an airbag in the a-pillars or not. Kinda figured there was a decent chance, but I didn't see an "airbag" mark anywhere on them. But I definitely won't be mounting anything there then if there are airbags. Thanks!

 

There's a Facebook group called "mini cooper mounts" that my buddy runs. He makes custom mounts for our MINIs. Maybe give him a jingle. He can definitely hook you up. Tell him Kristian sent ya.

 

Nice! Since I can't really seem to find what I'm looking for (at a decent cost), I'm actually playing with the idea of designing and fabricating some mount options for me (and whoever else might find themselves wanting something different )
