could be Thule. I have Yakimas on mine. Btw, I use to live in Spring Valley, NY which is not too far from you. Where do you go surfing? in Rockland Lake? :P Or do you head down to the jersey shores.

Oh my bad I just looked at them again, they are Yakimas. The red tags or something threw me off at first.

Yep, I'm a native New Jersey guy (proudly so) and The Shore is my beloved summer destination (Greece too)...
It's a Yakima rack with the "StrapThang" for securing the board - up to two. Got the rack from Wenzor, here on NAM.

Looks Like a 9' performance longboard? I thought about adding some racks but just couldn't do it. I use soft racks when I need to but usually use the wifes SUV.

I have 18 boards. I'm some what of a collector but I ride them all.

Have a good surf.

Where on the shore? I live out on LBI all summer, and i just saw a heavily modded PW/B MCS at one of the surf beaches.

I'm just borrowing my buddy's SUV to carry all of our boards (until i order the thule).

I'll be in North Beach Haven on Tuesday. :-)

It's a 9'6" longboard, Longboard MINI! RonJon surfshop (LBI, NJ). I was pleasantly surprised that the board size didn't overwhelm the MINI. I've got my Yack rack bars spaced about 31 inches... So far so good. I can open the sunroof about halfway with the rack pads on the bars. Without the pads I can open the sunroof fully.

Thanks Rally... man, I WISH I could live at the shore during the summer. The commute would kill me though. Guess I'll live vicariously through you.
55 degrees is about as cold as I'll go w/o a wetsuit. But in five minutes the feetsies and hands are numb, lol...
I'm hoping for mid sixties; 68 would be nice. Wish me luck!

Glad to see there is a way to carry a longboard or two. My daughter [PWB MC] is taking a surfing class in college and she is always borrowing my SUV.

Can someone point me to the correct rack and the best place to purchase the rack?

Thanks,

Hey everyone, I just got my new MINI and ordered the racks with it. I don't regret it one bit. I just had to actually see them to figure out how to accessorize them to carry a board, check out my gallery for details.
