Aero Kit Textured Paint

Anyone know where to get the black textured paint that's used for the edge trim on the aero kit? The kit instructions call if Matt Black Structured Paint. Is this something your average body shop would stock?

Doesn't flat black look kind of odd next to the wheel arch trim? Which is why they specify "structured paint" to match the trim. Anyone used it or know where to get it?

I do not know where to get it -as my aero kit was painted at the factory- but it definately has texture like the plastic bits. Maybe those that had their kits painted locally did not have the paint shop use textured paint but the factory kits - or at least the batch mine is from - has textured matte black paint.

"+1" add another person to that comment (me)

"looks fine" The car looks fine with the matt black paint instead of the
textured paint.

Wurth products are pretty much what most German car companies use. I've had really good experience matching the factory applied bumpy looking protection with the new Wurth SKS stone guard on my Porsche 944 prior to it being repainted.
http://www.wurthusa.com/project/en/l...th=04.0510.jpg

The factory applied stone guard back in 1985 for the 944s used a more bumpy surface (SKS) where as the BMW MINI looks like the Stone Guard Spray with the very fine texture would be best.

My aero front spoiler was just painted yesterday and on Monday I'll see what was used by Keeler MINI. If it is smooth and semi-black that's fine, but I bet they matched it to the OE black side skirts as I didn't buy the aero side skirts when I ordered my new S.
