Interior/Exterior Sparco seat brackets......Question
Sparco seat brackets......Question
I got all my parts to mount the Sparco Torino seats to the Mini but I can't figure out what the extra piece is for. It looks like a "J" and is almost as long as the base. It has a peg and a threaded insert in it also. Can you guys help me out?
P.S. - It was wrapped in tape to the base.

If it's what I think it is, it's for mounting the stock seatbelt reciever clip on the inside side of the seats. You need to remove these from factory seats as they also are wired for the seatbelt dash light,
Yup, what onasled said... its' for the seatbelt to mount to.
Remember not to insert the key once you disconnect the wires under the seat until you plug in a resistor, otherwise the airbag light will be triggered, then you'll be left going to the dealer to have them reset it even if you have the correct resistor plugged in.

If you get the Sparco base for the MINI, then it comes with a bracket so you can mount the stock tensioner
