Rattle and Hum

I bought my '03 JCWS used in March with 12k mi. Now at 22k. The body was really tight until a few weeks ago. Now there are lots of plastic squeaks and a few rattles. Does this just happen to Mini's? Is it a function of the cold weather setting in? I am off to the dealer this week for service and am wondering if I am reasonable to ask them to shake all the plastic parts to make sure they are tight (I think the old - drive the mechanic around so he can "listen" - is a waste of time. Things don't always shake the same.)

All squeaks and rattles can be fixed under warraanty. Ask them to fix them.
They know where most of the problems are.
