Another beltline done...

I completed the beltline mod this weekend. I prepped the surface by using rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball, then went over the whole area with a heat gun to ensure it was all dry. It took about an hour from start to finish but I really took my time. The hardest past was taking off the clear top layer. I also clayed it and gave it a coat of NXT as well. I can see how you guys get addicted to detailing- it took a bit of time but the results are worth it. I have plenty of high res pics if anyone is thinking about doing this and wants better pics. The forecast is calling for rain early in the week- I guess I get to do it all again next weekend!

Looks nice. But your door handles really stick out now.

Or just shave them completely! I think that would look badass a completely shaved mini! Maybe once I get a good job and out of my warranty!

Hey jbsf3 your MINI looks so freaking nice. One of the nicest I've seen for sure. I blacked out my side vents this weekend and I plan to do the beltline next weekend.

benthevegan- thanks for the compliments bro! Let me know if you have any questions on the beltline- it is pretty easy, just take your time.

It does look pretty sweet, but black wheels would be too much IMO. At some point there needs to be some contrast to see how black everything else is.

Black tint for the wheel arch lights but leave the wheels(I love them), that would be perfect!
